Potty Training - Day 2

To my total surprise, today was a complete success. Khloe did amazing and we didn't have any accidents!

She seems to be able to tell me she needs to go #2. However, with #1 we have to remind her. I'm not sure if we aren't waiting long enough to remind her so that she really feels the sensation of needing to go. Maybe it's just simply something that will come in time. Or perhaps a bit of both. All I do know is that this is a learning experience for the both of us, and I think we are doing pretty dang good!

I did a bit of reading online and found that children get irritated with constantly being asked if they need to go to the bathroom. Seems like common sense, right? Well apparently not for me! When we originally started training yesterday I was taking her in every 45 minutes to an hour, and we weren't getting a ton of results. Khloe started to resist. I'm sure she was frustrated and I feel terrible about that! So today, I took the advice from online and stopped bugging her so much. I started reminding her every hour and a half to two hours. We saw so much more success! I think that is what we will continue on doing for now.

We are looking forward to day three and can just hope that the success continues!
